About PropertyIT
PropertyIT is a Vancouver-based IT services and consulting brand for the property industry, a sub-brand of SAZ.ca and Sedighi.ca, led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Who we are
PropertyIT exists because buildings are now technology environments, and the people who run them were never given the tools or the staff to manage that. A property manager can read a mechanical drawing, a rent roll and a strata bylaw. Few have a current drawing of the network that carries their door controllers and cameras. We fill that gap.
We are based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and serve clients across Canada. PropertyIT is a sub-brand of SAZ.ca, a Strategy, AI & Acceleration consulting practice, and of Sedighi.ca, the professional site of founder Ali Sedighi, MBA. Our positioning is deliberate: senior-partner strategy with hands-on IT delivery. We are an IT services and consulting firm, not a reseller.
Founder and leadership
Ali Sedighi, MBA, is a Marketing and Technology Strategist and CTO who has delivered technology and growth programmes since 2007, more than 17 years of experience. He leads SAZ.ca and Sedighi.ca and personally reviews the guidance published on this site, which is why every article carries an author box and a review date.
His background spans strategy, digital systems, marketing technology and operations. For PropertyIT clients, that means conversations that connect infrastructure choices to occupancy, tenant retention, insurance terms and asset value, and not only to switches and firmware. You can read more at https://sedighi.ca and https://saz.ca.
How we work
Every engagement begins with a free 30-minute consultation and, where appropriate, a building technology survey. We then provide a written, fixed-price scope listing outcomes, responsibilities, assumptions and exclusions. Work in occupied buildings is scheduled around move-ins, quiet hours and month-end, with a written rollback for every change.
After go-live, a stabilisation period, a monthly report and a quarterly roadmap meeting keep the work visible. We publish service targets openly: 24/7 monitoring on managed infrastructure and a 15-minute response target on priority tickets. These are objectives supported by escalation and review, not guarantees. We prefer to be specific about what we aim for and honest about how we perform.
Operating principles
Draw it before you change it. Label every port, closet and circuit. Give each system an owner. Segment before you monitor and monitor before you automate. Test backups, not just run them. Treat vendor access as a risk to be managed, not a convenience to be forgotten. Report in plain language to people who are not technologists.
We do not invent testimonials, awards or certifications, and we do not claim partner status we do not hold. When we describe example situations, they are labelled as scenarios. Our credentials are those of our parent practice and its founder: more than 17 years of delivery since 2007, an MBA and a record of hands-on technology leadership.
Where we operate
We serve organisations across Canada, with British Columbia as our primary focus. Our locations pages cover 169 BC cities and communities, 39 cities across the country and all 13 provinces and territories, with practical context about local building stock, connectivity and continuity risks. Delivery is remote-first from Vancouver, with local technicians coordinated for cabling, camera mounting and access-control installation.
